Biography

Eduardo is a business leader with extensive experience as an investor and as a member in Mexican companies spanning several sectors, from food and packaging to transportation.
Mr. Tricio is the Chairman of Grupo LALA and Grupo Industrial Nuplen. He is also a board member of Citi Banamex, Televisa, Aeromexico, Orbia and the Mexican Business Council. As well as several nonprofit organizations, including the Federico Gómez Children’s Hospital in Mexico City, the National Institute of Health Sciences and Nutrition and The Latin American Conservation Council (LACC).

Eduardo helped found and continues to serve as the Chairman of Lala Foundation and SER A.C. Lala Foundation is a Mexican non-profit organization that directly supports more than 500,000 children each month. Their programs ensure better opportunities for underprivileged youth by simultaneously covering basic nutritional needs and offering quality education.
As President of the SER schools’ network, Mr. Tricio leads the growth and operations of the network in Mexico. Since its inception, the mission has been creating a network of groundbreaking schools, transforming the Mexican public education system by example. SER has grown from a classroom of twenty-eight children ten years ago to a network of fourteen schools serving more than 3,000 children from underserved communities around Mexico. Eduardo has supported the network’s expansion and his passion for the project has led other prominent Mexican business leaders to enthusiastically join the network.

Mr. Tricio is also a dairy farmer and holds a Bachelor of Agricultural Engineering from Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM).
